My Experience
When I was 10 years old my parents started Fostering children under 3, This made me take an interest in childcare as I really enjoy looking after and working along beside childcare . I started regular babysitting at weekends at 16, then moved onto part time nannying. I’ve had experience with children ages 0-12 years. I’ve also had experience caring for children with additional needs, one child with autism and one child with Down syndrome, during this I learnt basic sign language and planning to continue self studying. While nannying I’ve had experience in cooking basic meals and doing small house hold chores. I’ve also done school/nursery drop offs, helped with homework and took children on days out or to after school activities. I enjoy doing activities with children e.g games, reading , going outdoors, painting and creative crafts.
My Qualifications
I hold a full PVG check . I have also done a child development course while at school and first aid training.
