About Me
I am a positive and encouraging Primary Teacher and Tutor with lots of experience and really enjoy passing on my love of learning to my students! Education should be fun and believe that most things are possible with the correct effort and support - if you enjoy your learning experiences, they will be more effective!
My Experience
I have 25+ years of broad Primary Teaching experience across South Essex and several years of successful Tutoring practice - I have enabled past students into KEGS and the Chelmsford County High School via 11+ and also into New Hall, Felsted and Brentwood School via their entrance exams.
My Qualifications
I have a BSc (Hons) Sports Science degree and a PGCE (Primary) Teaching qualification, in addition to my many years of broad practical experience.
For your peace of mind, as a practising Primary Teacher, I have a fully registered DBS status (on the DBS update service) and have updated my Safeguarding awareness training within this academic year.
My Availability
I am a full-time Primary Teacher during the school day, but have a number of ongoing Tutoring students with whom I have worked for well over a year now, as they are very happy, enjoy our sessions and have made pleasing progress in our time together.
I am usually available for Tutoring between 4-30pm and 9pm on weekday evenings and would consider weekend students, by mutual agreement, if helpful.
Obviously, any session timings will be agreed around my current Tutoring commitments, but I am very flexible and I am sure that we can find a time to suit our busy lives!

My Fees
- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
My rates are usually agreed with each student's family individually, based on location/travel implications and any specific requirements, and there is always a little room for negotiation!!
