Hello there! I’m Georgia and I’m a 25-year-old nanny based in Clapham. I’m personable, outgoing and empathetic with strong interpersonal skills and a natural affinity for dynamic environments. Ultimately, I have a real passion for young people and thoroughly enjoy working with children of all ages.
My Experience
I’ve been a nanny for 3 years now, and have been working with children since I was 16. My experience lies within private childcare settings as a nanny, Nurseries and Performing Arts Schools, all of which have given me well-rounded and varied exposure to children. I also run my own children’s events company, dressing up as Disney princesses and entertaining at children’s parties!
I am adaptable, friendly and approachable and have regularly practiced these qualities throughout my career. For the past 2 years, I have been a full time nanny for a lovely family in Clapham. I regularly provide a range of fun developmental activities to suit each child which support homework and learning, but also act as a support system to the children through being friendly and approachable. I am passionate about making a difference to the development of children and strongly believe in leading through example. For example, I establish and maintain routines through punctual school pickups and am patient, empathetic and adaptable when dealing with discipline.
I feel strongly about the safeguarding and well-being of children, and feel that mental health is just as important to a child's safety as their physical health (although I am first aid trained!). Recognising and responding to welfare issues is at the forefront of my ethos and I carry this with me in anything I do in life. I am also an advocate for diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities and am welcoming and supportive of all cultural and religious backgrounds.

My Availability
I’m available from 24th July-21st August, based in Clapham, but am happy to travel within reason to suit your family’s needs. I’m looking to bridge the gap in-between my old job and starting work for a new family. I look forward to hearing from you! :)
