About Me
Hi,
I'm Melanie and I've been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 6 years, specialising in before and after school childcare. I take and collect from local primary schools and my setting is at home where the children can play safely & happily together in a relaxed family environment. I am proud to say that I have families who have stayed with me for many years, often from pre-school right through to starting Secondary school. I love looking after the children and they make long lasting friendships with one another too.
Parents are welcome to drop off from 7.30am and collect by 5.45pm. I take, collect and care for children before and after school from several local schools, which include Goldsworth Primary, Barnsbury Primary, Knaphill Primary, St.Johns Primary, Kingfield Primary, Oaktree Primary & Pirbright Primary.
I have two lovely boys of my own, who are 11 & 14. We live in Mayford village, along a quiet country lane and have a large garden, stocked with play things, so there's plenty of healthy outdoor time as well as indoor space dedicated for the children to play or enjoy quiet time. We often spend time in the fresh air after school at the local park before heading home.
I am Fully Covid Vaccinated.
My Experience
I have several years of child minding experience - including looking after children with Autism and other special needs.
My Qualifications
All qualifications and courses are kept up to date , including - Ofsted registration, Paedeatric First Aid, Safeguarding & enhanced DBS .

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
I charge £7.50 per child/per hour for siblings and £9 per hour per child for a single child.
