Hello, I’m Charlene, an Ofsted-registered childminder based in a warm, welcoming family home.

I live with my husband and our three children, aged 17, 15 and 14 months. Our home is spacious, with a dedicated playroom, a large kitchen where we spend lots of time learning through everyday experiences, and a lovely garden for outdoor play and exploration.

My aim is for every child to feel loved, safe and truly at home from the moment they walk through the door. I believe children learn best when they feel secure, valued and happy, so building strong, trusting relationships is at the heart of everything I do.

I provide a nurturing, child-led environment where children are encouraged to explore, make choices, become confident and independent, and develop a love of learning through play. We enjoy books, messy play, sensory activities, crafts, baking, music, outdoor adventures and local outings, all tailored to children’s individual interests and stages of development.

Working closely with families is incredibly important to me. I want parents to feel completely relaxed and confident when leaving their child, knowing they are in a caring, home-from-home environment where they will be supported, encouraged and treated as one of the family.
