About Me
I am a qualified primary school teacher with a specialism in SEND. Before completing my PGCE I was a learning support assistant in a school specialising in trauma and attachment. Alongside this I have experience working in a youth centre with children aged 5-14. When I am not in the classroom you will usually find me in the forest as I regularly run outdoor learning sessions for young children and adults. This experience has had a positive impact on how I believe children should learn. Encouraging children to foster an appreciation for the world, wildlife and others.
I love to encourage sensory play particularly with tuff trays and aim to set up a tuff tray related to the learning for children to engage with. I love to have fun with children and would be happy to organise trips out to the park, museums etc to really encourage children to explore the world around them.
