Hello dear parents !
I've been a nanny for 20 years and it's the profession which I love and enjoy. It has started back home when I volunteered to help in the orphanage and spent great deal of time with young children. Since then I knew I'd love to be around the small ones, help them to develop, watch them grow and simply enjoy playing together. In my opinion it it true blessing to love what you do and to have a great satisfaction from your work.
My other joy in life is healthy lifestyle, through nutrition and being active and I quickly learned that I can easily introduce that to families I have worked for. It is always a great sense of achievement when a small fussy eater starts to love vegetables which he or she has not liked the look of.
I also revel in education through play. I think it is important to stimulate the children from the very young age. It can be simply role play, colour, sound and letter recognition, then moving on to tracing patterns, colouring, pen holding and letter sounding. During my career I've managed to stimulate children and establish my system of special rewards. I've been praised by parents as I prepared two separate families children for prestigious school assessment and helped with the demanding homework after. My work has been noticed by the teachers and nursery workers.
My last placement was during the corona virus outbreak. During the time when there was no nursery I've managed to maintain tutoring at home and healthy balance of home time and outdoor play.
In my opinion childcare is all about seeing to individual children and family needs.
