I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa, but I’m now living in Aberdeen while I study Midwifery. I love children and everything about how their little brains work! I love to organise (and participate in!) creative play, especially outdoors if possible. I love cooking, and experimenting with healthy foods for kids. I have a lot of experience in the last 4 years working with kids from newborn (2 days old) to 10 year old. I have experience in babysitting, nannying as well as long term live-in Au pairing.
I would describe myself as a very independent person, as well as patient and caring. I’m very interested in childhood development and so I take the utmost care to look after children in a nurturing way conductive to optimal growth and development not only of milestones but to look after their emotional needs.
I have great stamina when it comes to play and really enjoy engaging children in their creativity in all forms.

My Experience
I have done regular babysitting for the past four years for different families (ages 0-10). I was an Au Pair in Edinburgh for a family with twin babies (8- 22 months) for a year, which I absolutely love and am still friends with the family. I also grew up with an autistic brother so I have some experience with children who are on the autistic spectrum. I have a CV which is more detailed on my experience.
My Qualifications
I have a First Aid level 3 qualifications, however, I did it in South Africa so it may be expired by now.
