My name is Pavlina,
I am bilingual performer and childcare provider, originally from the Czech Republic. I currently live in Bricket Wood. I am loving and nurturing person, full of energy, highly organised and responsible.
Most recent experiences includes teaching at an international summer camp, live-in nanny position for a family with 3 children, as well as a nanny for 2 toddlers on a flexible basis. I hold DBS enhanced check and have experience with children from newborns to teenagers.
I am caring and nurturing nanny, who takes her position seriously with a very hands-on approach when being with children. I aim to help with their development as well as enjoy the time we spend together, exploring and discovering.
My Experience
- working as a freelance childcare provider for various families in the surrounding area (2020-22) children age 1,1,3,4,10,12
- teaching experience includes working as a dance teacher/course assistant at Exsportise Summer school (2019,22,23), teaching and assisting dance and drama at Claremont School East Sussex (2019-2020), I also had duties at the boarding house, including planning weekend activities and holiday events such as Halloween or Christmas!
- Over the corona virus period I was nannying for a family with a 3 year old girl in Prague
- I have experience as an au-pair (2016-2017) with two families, children’s age from 4-12 years old
- Before I moved to the UK I was a camp leader at my local scout club for about 4 years, including summer camps and daytime trips
- as a dance teacher my first experience was when I was only 16 years old and I led two dance classes for girls aged 4-14 students
- At the age of 15 I have started to study for my A-Level equivalent of exam in Pre-School education and Music, having done several placements each year in different nurseries, school clubs and special needs schools
- I am an auntie to 7 nephews and nieces (Last one was born in April :) ). My first nephew was born and raised in my home, so I was able to help and develop my skills with newborns for the first several months. Since then I have cared for several babies/toddlers that my friends have now and I absolutely adore time spent with them.
