About Me
I am a very calm and loving person. I take time to understand why the child might be feeling a certain emotion and will work with the child to help them understand what made them feel that way. I am very crafty and enjoy getting a bit messy painting or making things as long as the child is happy! I love taking walks outdoors and exploring nature.
My Experience
I have been in the Childcare sector for 7 years, completing placement as well as working. I have worked in an after-school club in a primary school. I have also been a nanny for two different families for their toddlers. I worked as a qualified Nursery practitioner in a private Nursery and have been a babysitter for a few children in my nursery. My main responsibilities working with the children were ensuring I was always safeguarding them, meeting their individual needs, and supporting their development- meeting milestones. I was required to care for the children's day-to-day routine and support them in their development. I needed to maintain confidentiality and work in partnership with other parties involved in the child’s development and the child’s family.
My Qualifications
GCSE English
• NCFE CACHE Level 2 Award in child Development and Care – A*
• City of oxford college 2018-2019- NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in an introduction to early years education and care
• City of oxford college- L3 Diploma in Childcare & Education- Currently 2 year course from 2020-2021
