Hello my name is Eleanor, I am an energetic and passionate nursery manager with 11 years of experience working directly with nursery aged children. I also have experience with ages 6-13 from private nannying jobs.
I have a huge passion for childcare and have spent the last 11 years working my way up from a nursery apprentice to a nursery manager. I have lots of experience planning exciting activities to help stimulate and promote children’s learning. I also support children with SEN, carry out 2 year checks with the local health visitor, change nappies, tell stories, engage in imaginative role play, assist with potty training, make bottles, lead baby yoga sessions and overall ensue the children’s safety and well-being needs are being met.
My Experience
I have extensive knowledge of the EYFS, advanced level 3 safeguarding training, SEN training and pediatric first aid training. I also teach makaton which is a form of British Sign Language, simplified for children of all ages.
I also have experience working as a baby sitter for the families of the children I have cared for in my previous nurseries, friends and members of my family. I am able to carry out light housework tasks such as laundry and cooking if necessary. I am not Ofsted registered but happy to apply for it.
