About Me

I have a passion for families, children and childcare. I am currently working as an Assistant SENCO at a mainstream primary school, whilst studying my Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Master’s at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust. This role provides me with valuable experience working with a range of SEN strengths and challenges managed daily within an educational environment. I have 3 years of full-time, live-in and live-out nannying experience. I also graduated last year with a Psychology degree, specialising in developmental psychology. The nurturing instincts I’ve developed from a young age has built my kind and approachable personality, alongside a responsible and mature attitude. I adore children of all ages and my past experiences working in multiple family homes and primary schools has only increased this love. I want to aid your family home as much as possible; keeping to time and routine is essential, as well as carrying out tasks with a positive attitude. I believe I have the qualities to be a good role model to the children and will have their best interests at heart. Initially creating a good relationship with the children will spark respect and a friendly, warm atmosphere, which is vital for learning and care to follow. Reflected in previous feedback from families I have worked with before, I am considered a trustworthy and reliable individual who always has your family's best interests at heart.
