I am a dedicated and compassionate individual with a strong passion for supporting children’s development, particularly those with special educational needs. With a calm and collected nature, I thrive both working independently and as part of a team. I am hardworking, trustworthy, and committed to creating safe, nurturing environments where children can flourish. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, reading, dancing, spending time outdoors, and being with family. I am now seeking a role where I can continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, helping them grow with confidence and support.
My Experience
Currently I work with children who are struggling in schools to offer them support in a range of areas. I previously worked as a fully time SEN nanny and prior to that at one of the top nursery’s in Norfolk in the pre school room where there is never a dull moment! I have in the past worked at a summer school with children aged 5-11, as a 1:1 with children with additional needs (ASD, Down’s syndrome) and have also been a nanny for a family consisting of 3 children aged 6-12. Coming from a large family, i’ve always been around children and loved spending time with them and i’m not afraid to get a bit messy! Additionally I have babysat since the age of 15. I absolutely love having the pleasure of nurturing children and watching them grow- I love to bring a warm, bouncy energy to their days and fill children with positivity!
My Qualifications
This year I have completed a refresher course in Paediatric first aid and child safeguarding.I have also recently completed courses in self regulating and behaviour, and a norfolk county council led course called Autism: The Invisible Condition. I hold a level 2 in a course by Elklan in Communication Support in verbal children with ASD, which I completed in December 2022. I hold 3 Alevels and a Level 3 in Early Years. I have also taken part in these courses:
