Housekeeper Job In Chichester
About Me
Hello,
We have recently moved to the area, and living just outside West Wittering village. We are a family of 5 - Husband & Wife, and three children - Twin Boys aged 6 and a younger boy aged 3. We run our own business, with currently my husband working full time in the business and I do about 2 days a week but would like to increase this as things get busier again. We generally work from home/from a local office or from London, but are flexible in the way we work.
The twins are at school nr chichester and my youngest does two different nurseries, one in chichester (Monday and Tuesday) and one locally in Itchenor (Thursday and Friday). He is at home with me on a wednesday.
My Requirements
I am looking for more of a house keeper / assistant to help out at home during the week, to try and take the strain off general family related jobs so I can focus on work. We have a separate cleaner who works on a friday.
The role would be a combination of both light housework and some childcare. Roles around the house would involve;
- Small jobs like dishwasher, keeping kitchen tidy / ironing / washing and putting away clothes / sorting children's rooms and clothes to keep organised / keeping playroom organised / selling vinted items / helping pack and get ready for weekends away & guests etc.
- Childcare is more likely to be for our youngest 3 year old as his nursery finishes around 4pm, and it would involve looking after him at home whilst I go to collect the other children. Playing games / reading with him etc.
In a perfect would we would have someone on a Monday or Tuesday afternoon for 2-3 hours then again on a Thursday afternoon for 2-3 hours. Total 5-6 hrs per week. Lots of potential for additional hours if of interest, especially during holidays.
