About Me

Hi, my name is Georgia. I am young, organised, active and fun. I am looking for a nanny or babysitting job (ideally full time). I have extensive child care experience including toddlers, twins, multiple children, special needs experience. I really enjoy working with children of all ages because I found it fun, rewarding and interesting. I enjoy cooking, baking, sports (especially, tennis and running), being outdoors and staying active. I am very organised and flexible.

My Experience

I have extensive experience with children 18 months up to 14 years old. I have worked both in a professional setting as well as volunteering and as a babysitter.

Firstly, I am an LTA Accredited Level 2 Tennis Coach and have worked for The Little Foxes Club for the past two years. Where I have taught children tennis six sometimes seven days a week tennis. I worked with children from 18 months all the way up to 14 years old. The worked with children from beginner to performance. I have gained experience with special needs children (particularly autism), twins experience, and working with a range of age groups. I even ran an entire location alone which had many returning clients term after term. I also had sole charge of the groups that I worked with at the various locations I worked at. Additionally, I have gained experience in football and gymnastics through assisting and leading part of sessions. In football, I mainly assisted 18 months to 5 years old and with gymnastics from 18 months to 7 years old.

During my time at the Little Foxes Club I also spent three months working for Barnes Tennis Academy where I worked with children ages 4-9 years old mainly in smaller groups or private lessons. Similarly, I had sole charge of the group.

Prior to working for the Little Foxes Club, I volunteered for the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative (where I learned to play tennis) every weekend for a year working with children from 3-11 years old. This was highly rewarding and is where my coaching in tennis began.

My coaching journey began when I was accepted onto the London Young Coaches Academy where I developed my coaching skills and learnt how to teach children. I leaned about special needs, teaching techniques and coaching methods.

Additionally, for two years I worked voluntarily as a sports leader in a primary school doing multi-skill activities as well as organising and helping run sporting events for primary school aged children. I worked with children 4-11 years old. I had shared care of the children and would work in groups of up to 8 children.

Also, I have worked at my dance school for the past 3 years with their annual summer school. I worked with children 2-12 years old. I worked in groups of 6 children doing arts and crafts, dance and did story time with the children.

Lastly, I have been a babysitter for the same family for almost 2 years with looking after their 3 children (currently ages 5, 8 and 10 years old). I was responsible for playing games, doing fun activities such as hide and seek, putting the children to bed, I also have dealt with the children when they were sick.

Since August 2020, I have worked as a Nanny. Firstly, part-time looking after three children (7,7,11). Main duties were to pick-up from school, homework help, play with the children, take them to the park and make them a snack. During lockdown, helping with homeschooling and cooking for the children. Then for the last six months, I have worked as a full-time nanny for two children (2,7) sole-charge role with main duties including: cooking, light house work, organising play dates, school drop-off and pick-up, potty training youngest, taking them on day-trips (e.g. to museums), taking them to the park.

My Qualifications

I am DBS checked and have been First Aid certified. I have done safeguarding training. I also have an LTA Level 1 and LTA Level 2 Coaching Qualifications for coaching tennis. I don't have any childcare qualifications but I have a lot of experience.
