About Me

Hi! I am moving to Putney at the end of August and am looking for a long term position. I am currently studying primary education part time through the Open Univeristy. I love working with children and I love helping them with their education as well as helping them enjoy learning. I have worked different jobs in the childcare sector, from working in a nursery, working with children with SEN, after school care and home schooling. I am flexible with hours but mainly looking for full time work.

My Experience

I have been working in childcare since March 2018, when I started an apprenticeship in a special needs nursery and qualified in becoming an early years educator. During this time I have cared for children between ages 6 and 13 after school (also with special needs) and have experience babysitting. After two years I decided I wanted to take my turn at nannying and was working full time in Kingston during the height of COVID-19. After 3 months I went back to working with SEN children and giving parents respite after lock down had been lifted. Along with this I have multiples experience due to my siblings (6 year old boy and girl twins) being born when I was 18 and having a great involvement in their upbringing from the start. I also have worked as a tutor in maths and English, both for a company and privately.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 childcare qualification. I gained this through an apprenticeship working at an SEN school, specifically with the nursery age group. I am also paediatric first aid trained. I am studying for a degree in primary education

My Availability

I am available for work from September. Looking for part/ full time work, live out. Weekend work can be discussed
