About Me
Hi! My name is Charlotte, and I am looking to start a new journey with a lovely family. I have recently finished a degree in primary education with a first-class honours after studying and working full time for 6 years - something I am very proud of!
I love working with children, helping them with their education and generally having fun with them. I have worked different jobs in the childcare sector, from working in a nursery, working with children with SEN, after school care and home schooling. I am flexible with hours but looking for full time work.
My Experience
I have been working in childcare since March 2018, when I started an apprenticeship in a special needs nursery and qualified in becoming an early years educator. During this time I have cared for children between ages 2 and 18 after school (also with special needs) and have experience babysitting. After two years I decided I wanted to take my turn at nannying and was working full time in Kingston during the height of COVID-19. After 3 months I went back to working with SEN children to give parents respite after lock down had been lifted. Along with this I have twin experience due to my siblings (10 year old boy and girl twins) being born when I was 18 and having a great involvement in their upbringing from the start. I also have worked as a tutor in maths and English, both for a company and privately.
Following this I started my education towards my degree whilst working as a nanny for two separate families, one with school aged children and the other with a young boy who had cancer. I have a lot of experience working with people from all walks of life and I love being able to help and bring stability and peace in difficult times.
My Qualifications
I have a first-class honours in primary education studies (BA Hons), and a level 3 childcare qualification. I gained this through an apprenticeship working at an SEN school, specifically with the nursery age group. I am also paediatric first aid trained.
My Availability
I am available for work from September. Looking for full time work, live out. Overnight weekend work can be discussed

- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £25.00 per hour (net)
