About Me
Hello,
I am an experienced Maternity Nurse and consultant with over 20 years experience working with children.
I specialise in breast feeding consultancy, sleep training and showing parents how to implement a routine that suits them and their family. I also run training courses for new parents and nannies as well as teach baby massage.
Since having my own children I like to mix shorter consultancy visits and teaching with night nanny positions, so I am currently looking for night nanny placements.
I love my job and adore babies and work hard to fit in well to a family's home at this special time. On meeting with a family I like to discuss the best solution for you regarding routine and sleep training and am happy to give advice if wanted, or follow your instruction when preferred.

My Experience
I have over 20 years of maternity care experience for single babies and several sets of twins.
As well as maternity placements, I have worked as a private consultant and assisted with newborn and young children’s issues, such as breast feeding instruction, lessons on weaning, first aid, eliminating sleep associations, time zone readjustment etc.
I also run a telephone consultation service and run various training courses for maternity nurses, nannies and parents and I have given talks for the NCT in several areas in the south of England.
My Qualifications
I trained with MNT several years ago and am a qualified lactation consultant and baby massage instructor.
Over the past 10 years I have ran various workshops and private training for groups of parents. These include newborn parenting classes, weaning workshops, breastfeeding clinics, Infant first Aid and baby massage courses for parents and nannies.
My Availability
I’m currently working part time offering shorter private consultancies, trouble shooting and night nannying to new parents.
I am currently looking for shorter term night placements so I can fit in consultancy visits and teaching in between. I will consider longer positions dependant of my availability so please contact me to discuss.
