About Me
My name is Laura. I live in Longlevens, Gloucester in a quiet, family area. I am married and have two children aged 6 and 4. We also have a lovely family pet Labrador called Cassie.
I have a large purpose built playroom, with toilet and kitchen facilities. The space is set up so children can access resources and toys easily and to meet their needs. We are always busy painting, cooking, making play dough, drawing, building and much more. I have a large garden with a swing and slide set, a mud kitchen, a playhouse, an area where we grow herbs and plants, a bug hotel, bikes and scooters and a large grass space for running and ball games.
My Experience
I have been working with children for over 10 years. I qualified as a primary school teacher and worked with many different age groups from Reception to Year 6.
I enjoy outdoor learning with children and like to go outside in all weathers! We do lots of creative and messy play activities, the messier the better! We like to visit local play groups, meet up with other childminders, visit local parks and the library. We also go further afield to places like Slimbridge, animal parks and softplay.
