About Me

I have been a nanny for over 30 years and love being with young children.
I enjoy exploring new places, landscapes, people, languages, cultures and food. I have travelled abroad extensively, backpacking for several months at a time, to Africa, Mexico, South East Asia and Tobago. I have also spent shorter periods of time visiting several countries in Europe.
I like meeting new people, time in nature, singing, journaling, cooking and natural approaches to wellbeing. I am interested in community initiatives and sustainable living and tend to focus more on solutions than problems.
I am a mum to two wonderful girls.

My Experience

I have worked with many families over the years and am especially fond of being with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. I really enjoy being able to build a supportive working relationship with the families I nanny for, sharing observations and parenting experiences so that we can all learn and grow together.
I have teaching experience in three Montessori settings with children between the ages of 2-5 years.
I am Ofsted registered and have my own Public Liability Insurance. My DBS check and Paediatric First Aid training are up to date. I can provide references from my current employer and previous most recent employers.
