Hi my name is Lily :) I am a 24 year old Nanny based in Surrey, with over 8 years of childcare experience. I have always been a natural carer and love looking after people. I’m an active person which helps when playing with the kids, I am a creative individual so colouring, painting, anything arty/fun is absolutely perfect with me, of course cleaning up once finished.
I have extensive, lifelong experience caring for children, including supporting my younger brother who has Down syndrome. This has helped me develop a high level of patience, empathy, and adaptability, enabling me to confidently support children with a wide range of needs and provide attentive, compassionate care. Since my last childcare role, I have obtained a First Class degree in Film production and have been working in a corporate environment for the past 2 years and am now eager to return to the dynamic, hands-on world of caring for children.
My Experience
I was a nanny for a wonderful family from September 2020-October 2021 and unfortunately had to leave them due to moving out of the area for University.
In this role I provided attentive and reliable childcare, including school and nursery pick-ups, and the preparation of healthy meals and snacks. Supported children’s academic development through homework assistance and guidance with online school. Planned and delivered engaging, age-appropriate activities, encouraging creativity through arts and crafts as well as educational games to promote learning through play. Organised outings to parks and soft play centres, and created fun, structured schedules during school holidays and half terms. Incorporated regular baking activities during the winter months, combining a personal passion with engaging, hands-on experiences that were enjoyable and rewarding for both the children and their families.
From the age of 16-18 I worked as a Party Instructor at a local Leisure Centre delivering a range of themed children’s parties in a fun, safe and well-organised environment. Ensured children’s safety and engagement throughout each event, maintained high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and progressed to Team Leader, overseeing and supporting a team of peers to ensure all duties were completed to a high standard.

My Qualifications
I have got a First Class degree in Film Production, 3 A Levels as well as 9 GCSE's including Maths and English.
