My name is Mary and I am currently looking for a new role.I am a qualified maternity nurse with a highly accredited diploma in Advanced Maternity Nursing. and a qualified midwife with 10 years working experience.

My Experience
I’m a mother of three and a midwife, hence why I have developed a deep passion of loving babies. I have been working as a maternity nurse for over 17years. During this lengthy period
I have worked with various families from multicultural backgrounds with newborn babies and older children as well.
My major roles have been taking responsibility for the
baby's physical needs such as :
Feeding
Bathing
Nappy changing
Settling
Laundry
Baby activities
Washing and sterilising baby's bottles.
Settling baby to sleep
Establishing a form of routine regarding baby feeding and sleeping patterns.
On the mothers' side, I have been giving support and advice toward their breastfeeding habits, dietary and fluid intakes, and to ensure that they get
enough rest. Also, I am able to support new mothers and with older children.
My Qualifications
- Certificate in Advanced Maternity Nursing Course on Postnatal Depression,
- Breastfeeding and Care of the new born: January 2020
- Certificate in Pediatric First Aid and CPR
- Edexcel Level 2 NVQ, Health and Social Care: June 2009 - $ept 2009
- Diploma in midwifery.

I am available all the time but also depending on the mother's schedule

- Babysitting from £22.00 per hour
- Maternity Nursing from £25.00 per hour (gross)

Mary was our night nanny for three months, working three nights a week, and she was wonderful. She is caring, gentle, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and always impeccably punctual. Like many parents, we were initially anxious about leaving a stranger to care for our son overnight, but Mary earned our trust and became part of our family during that time. She went above and beyond, checking in on our son even on nights she wasn’t working and asking how doctor’s appointments had gone. Mary supported us through the fourth trimester and thoughtfully helped us find colleagues to take over when she left. I have no hesitation in recommending her to other parents.

Mary took care of our 4.5 month old baby several days a week and was truly gentle and loving with our dearest baby. Her demeanor is positive and supportive, it was easy to fully trust her with our child as she truly tried to understand how to support us best. Working with babies takes a special skill and Mary has the gift of being able to handle any situation with ease.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for gentle, loving, and experienced care for their young ones!

Mary night nannied for us twice a week helping us with our new born son. She immediately showed us her experience and warmth supporting us throughout the night.
Our son was born with some stomach complications so having someone we trusted was vital , Mary was that person completely. She would coach us through best practices and we always trusted her throughout.
On some nights Mary would also babysit for us, during these evenings she would update us throughout the evening which was amazing.

Mary helped us take care of our new born daughter from May-July 2024. She did both night and days and made a huge difference in the health and weight gain of our low birthweight baby. She is most experienced with feeding, routine setting and common health issues with new borns. Would highly recommend Mary as she is very knowledgeable, kind and hard working.
