Elaine has been an absolutely pivotal figure in my daughters' early years, playing a role that goes far beyond what you'd expect from a childminder. From the very first moment, she welcomed them with warmth, patience, and genuine affection. My girls run into her home with such joy, barely looking back a true testament to how safe they feel in her care.
My eldest daughter started with Elaine at just 7 months old and is now transitioning to nursery, a milestone that feels bittersweet. While we're excited for this next chapter, it’s hard not to feel emotional about saying goodbye to someone who has nurtured her independence, celebrated her personality, and consistently made her feel seen and valued. My youngest is still with Elaine (and has been since 6 months), and for that, I’m incredibly grateful. We’re not ready to say goodbye just yet.

Afternoons are balanced with creative and sensory activities like play-dough, water play, or even just playing with toys. And during holidays, the adventures continue… from visits to farms and zoos to local fêtes and playgrounds, Elaine makes sure the children are engaged, learning, and most of all, having fun.
What makes Elaine truly exceptional is something that’s hard to define, it’s a feeling. A sense that your child is being cared for by someone who sees them, values them, and genuinely enjoys being part of their journey. It's rare to find someone outside of your own family who can offer that kind of presence, and Elaine has it in abundance.
