My son has been in her care for two years, and the progress he has made under her guidance has been incredible. She has created such a warm and supportive environment where he has grown in confidence, independence, and curiosity.
One of the many things we are grateful for is how she encouraged him with sensory play. It was never something he naturally gravitated towards, but through her patience and creativity he now enjoys it, a skill that has helped his development in so many other areas too.
Elaine has a real gift for balancing fun with learning. From outings to the zoo and park to creative activities, she has supported his social, emotional, and cognitive growth every step of the way. Her thoughtful updates always reassured me that he was thriving in her care.
We are so thankful for the love, dedication, and support Elaine has shown. She is very experienced and has been an important part of my son’s early years, and we couldn’t have asked for a better childminder.

Elaine has been an absolutely pivotal figure in my daughters' early years, playing a role that goes far beyond what you'd expect from a childminder. From the very first moment, she welcomed them with warmth, patience, and genuine affection. My girls run into her home with such joy, barely looking back a true testament to how safe they feel in her care.
My eldest daughter started with Elaine at just 7 months old and is now transitioning to nursery, a milestone that feels bittersweet. While we're excited for this next chapter, it’s hard not to feel emotional about saying goodbye to someone who has nurtured her independence, celebrated her personality, and consistently made her feel seen and valued. My youngest is still with Elaine (and has been since 6 months), and for that, I’m incredibly grateful. We’re not ready to say goodbye just yet.
Elaine has always gone the extra mile to keep me connected and reassured throughout the day. Whether it's through, candid photos, or simple messages, I’ve always felt informed and at ease. Her communication is consistent and you can tell she truly understands the importance of trust between parent and caregiver.
Beyond her natural warmth, Elaine brings an amazing structure and variety to the children's days. During term time, mornings are often spent at local playgroups, helping the children develop social skills and confidence through play and interaction with others. Afternoons are balanced with creative and sensory activities like play-dough, water play, or even just playing with toys. And during holidays, the adventures continue… from visits to farms and zoos to local fêtes and playgrounds, Elaine makes sure the children are engaged, learning, and most of all, having fun.
What makes Elaine truly exceptional is something that’s hard to define, it’s a feeling. A sense that your child is being cared for by someone who sees them, values them, and genuinely enjoys being part of their journey. It's rare to find someone outside of your own family who can offer that kind of presence, and Elaine has it in abundance.
To anyone considering childcare, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Elaine. She is truly one in a million, and I feel incredibly lucky to have her in our lives.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Your girls are a credit to you both and I have so enjoyed looking after them. They are such happy, inquisitive and affectionate little girls 😀
Elaine has been fantastic. My child has been so happy there and looks forward to going every morning. Elaine opens the door with a smile and invests a lot of time and care in my child’s development.
Elaine is very good at keeping in constant communication with the parents. She sends regular updates and photos from the day which is much appreciated.
Elaine is very active with the kids and has a lot of variety in the activities she does with them. She makes sure they go out every day to playgroups and takes them on outings to museums, galleries, the library and parks during half term.
Highly recommend Elaine – she is dedicated and devoted and has built a wonderful nurturing and warm environment for young children to grow, learn, explore and play.

We were very lucky to have Elaine look after our son from 1yr old till 3, when he went to nursery.
Elaine is kind, supportive, understanding and very experienced. Nothing was ever a problem or an issue. Supported us through all developmental stages with practical advice.
Education wise, Elaine follows Ofsted guidelines which along with her experience and approach have ensured that our son ticked all relevant boxes against NHS expectations for his age.
We can’t recommend Elaine enough and wish our son could have stayed for longer.
