Free Public Liability Insurance for Childminders & Nannies

Childcare.co.uk have teamed up with Jelf Insurance Brokers Limited, to offer £5,000,000 of free Public Liability insurance, underwritten by UK General Insurance Limited on behalf of Ageas Insurance Limited, for all Childminders and Nannies that are Gold Members of Childcare.co.uk.

Free Legal Expenses Cover

Members of our insurance scheme now also receive free Legal Expenses Cover and access to a 24 hour Legal Helpline.

The Legal Expenses Cover policy is underwritten by Markel International Insurance Company Limited and is managed and administered by Abbey Legal Protection.

Satisfies EYFS and Ofsted Requirements

The Public Liability cover provided for Childminders and Nannies meets the requirements of the EYFS statutory framework, specifically section 3.63, which states that "providers must carry public liability insurance".

To qualify for the policy, you must be:

• a Childcare.co.uk Gold Member with an approved profile in the Childminder or Nanny categories

Terms & Conditions

The public liability insurance is available to Childcare.co.uk gold members in the childminder or nanny categories only. Once you are covered under the policy, any changes to your Childcare.co.uk account that would disqualify you from the cover, will result in your cover immediately expiring. If your gold membership expires then your cover will immediately cease. When submitting your details to apply, you must provide your correct full name and full address. If you change your name or address you must let us know immediately. Applications with invalid or non-current names and addresses will not be valid and you will not be covered.
