Hi, I’m Clare. I am 40 years old and currently live in Kirkby. I have a 2 year old
son and two guinea pigs. I am a caring and enthusiastic person who is passionate about helping babies and children to learn and reach their full potential. I am a very patient person who is able to improve self-esteem and build children’s confidence with regards to their learning and also develop their independence at the same time. I have a full and clean driving license and own my own car.
My Experience
I was a fully qualified primary school teacher (3-11 years) with 18 years experience working with babies and children up to 11 years of age. I have a great deal of experience working with children with Autism and special educational needs and currently home-school a child with Autism. I also have 18 months experience working at a busy tutor centre teaching Primary English & Mathematics to groups of children all working at their own individual levels. I am now self employed. I did run three small businesses prior to having my son, teaching kids yoga and mindfulness classes 3 x a week, tutoring part time of an evening and homeschooling 2 mornings a week. I am also a fully licensed home dog boarder and this has been my main job since having my son. I also have an enhanced DBS check that is updated every year and have just completed my basic paediatric first aid and defibrillator training too. I am hoping to be all set up to start childminding from September 2024.

Primary Education with QTS (1st Class Hons)
BTEC In Early Years (L3) Double Distinction
Children’s yoga and mindfulness Teacher
My Availability
