Best childminder ever!!

I just wanted to come on and leave a review on Tessa as I know she is looking for another child to mind. When I was trying to find a childminder last year, reading the reviews was so important to me so I just want to leave a few words on Tessa for anybody that comes across her profile.

Tessa is honestly the best childminder I’ve ever known. My son had previously been to two nurseries in the area but just hated it and couldn’t get on with the busy environment. I was keen to try a childminder because I wanted the more 1:1 care for him so I came on here in search of someone. I wanted to find someone who was going to have a ‘second mum’ vibe with him but who also was going to teach him and give him everything he would get from a nursery. Tessa does all of these things, plus more. She is honestly the most caring, most wonderful lady. She has such a lovely way with him, my son just loves her. He’s been going to her for around a year now and after a really troubling time trying to settle him into a nursery and him screaming, hating it; he settled with Tessa within a couple of days. Much quicker than I would have ever thought possible.

The thing I first noticed about Tessa when we went to meet for a chat last year, was that she was more interested in interacting with George than she was with me. She was of course chatting with myself and my partner but I just loved how she was on my sons level and interested in getting to know him first and foremost - unlike any of the nurseries or minders I’ve ever known.

She also has an art degree which is very apparent! The fun, creative ideas that she comes up with on a day to day basis just honestly blows my mind sometimes!

It was also important to me to find someone that was active and busy as my son isn’t one to want to sit indoors and she is just amazing. She takes them out every single day; they’re at the zoo once a week/fortnight at least, or the farm or a toddler activity of some sort. They’ve never spent a whole day indoors since he’s started coming a year ago.

She is also great with food, he always has a great meal with her and picnics, etc. He has just come on leaps and bounds and we are just so thankful we have found Tessa. If you are looking for someone who will be like a second mum to your little one and provide them with everything they need to thrive and grow then honestly Tessa is your childminder!
