My name is Chenice and I am 27 years old living in Lancing and I have 11 years experience working with children aged from 6 months to 14 years. I am looking for a lovely nurturing and caring family to work for as a ofsted Registered nanny to look after your little ones and generally help out where possible to make day to day life run easier for you. I have a real passion for working with children and helping them to develop their own personalities and most importantly having fun and learning through play. I have lots of experience in activity planning and making sure children and young people get the most out of an activity, but I also use their interests throughout to help engagement and concentration.
I am a very hard worker and love to be busy, I am always happy to help out wherever I can. I am a reliable, fun and a confident person with flexibility, good time keeping and great communication skills which is very important when looking after your precious little one
My Experience
I have been an Ofsted registered nanny for the past 3 years and 6months for my current family (Hassocks based) who I will be staying with until the little one starts school in September this year. I have also worked in pre-school, primary school and nursery environments where I worked as a room leader/ supervisor in a baby room. So I have lots of experience and knowledge in looking after children and young people as-well as working in a family home and helping with the running of it. I have also worked closely with families baby sitting in the evening or looking after their little ones throughout weekdays and weekends plus wedding childcare (Ad hoc) as well as nursery and school pickups and drop offs. This has included fun and organised day trips to the farm, nature reserves, parks, art and craft and music groups and anything else local in the area. I have my own car with a clean driving license and have been driving for 9 1/2 years.
