About Me
My name is April and i’am an Ofsted registered childminder, with a full DBS check and a degree in early years.
I live with my husband and our two sons (aged 11and 4) and expecting our third baby in July 2024!! I'm a bubbly and caring person who loves to meet new people and I enjoy being out and about exploring new places.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 15 years with children aged from birth onwards.Working with children is a passion of mine everyday is something new and fun! I provide a safe and welcoming environment for children where they can feel at home and engage in activities to help support and develop their learning.
I have a dedicated play area and large outdoor garden. I-am lucky to be located in a lovely area where there are playgrounds,horse fields, soft play and a lovely library so we will be able to benefit from being out and about as part of daily activities.

My Availability
ONE FULL TIME SPACE AVAILABLE (starting January 2025 Monday-Thursday 8-5.30for 1year old and older) I will be on maternity from July 2024 and back to work January 2025 and doing settling in session during December 2024 for new starters.I open at 8.00 and close at 5.30pm these times can be negotiated.I offer full or half days and can be flexible with hours.
Please note that I only do school pick up from st Mary’s byfleet due to my own children attending there.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£7 per hour
I provide breakfast,lunch,tea and snacks,nappies, wipes,calpol and suncreams, I only ask parents to provide some spare clothes and any medication or formula that is prescribed by a doctor.

I would highly recommend April as a childminder. She has looked after all three of my boys and they absolutely love her! They never cried when I dropped them off each morning and they were so excited to go there. The boys all felt at home when they went there as April's home has a really nice family feel to it. I work shift work and sometimes my shifts would change. This was never really a problem for April as she would try and be as flexible as she could, this really set my mind at ease. Unfortunately I moved out of the area and had to say goodbye to April. It was so nice to receive the boys development folders with all their arts/crafts that they had done, some of these are still on my fridge now!
Again I would highly recommend!
