My Experience

I have been caring for children from a very young age, as my younger brother has Down’s Syndrome. Growing up surrounded by him and his friends gave me not only early hands-on experience but also a deep sense of compassion and understanding for children of all needs. Over the years, this early exposure blossomed into a true passion, and I’ve now accumulated over 15 years of childcare experience. This includes volunteer work in nurseries, orphanages, and institutions for children with special needs, as well as working as a sole charge nanny.

Between 2007 and 2012, while attending Sixth Form and University, I volunteered as a teaching assistant at nurseries and orphanages, supporting infants and toddlers in their daily routines and encouraging their development through educational play.

From 2013 to 2015, I worked as a full-time nanny caring for 20-month-old twins, handling all child-related responsibilities with dedication and care.

In 2017, after completing Law School, I cared full-time for a 1-year-old girl until she began nursery. I later continued as her weekend babysitter, and eventually supported the same family again while we were both in Italy, looking after her part-time during their Italian citizenship process.

After relocating to London at the end of 2020, I took on a live-in nanny role, caring for a 4-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. I was fully responsible for their daily care until the family relocated to Italy.

Since August 2021, I have been working as a full-time live-out nanny for a lovely family, caring for a newborn baby girl (just two weeks old at the time) and her older brother, then 2.5 years old. They are now 4 and 6.5 years old, and I have remained with the family throughout, supporting both children and assisting with light housekeeping. With both children set to start full-time school this September, I am now looking for a new family to join and support with the same warmth, reliability, and care I’ve always brought to my work.

My Availability

Mornings or full time, monday-friday. Babysitting at weekends and some evenings are possible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £17.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (net)
