Hello everyone, I’m Chelsea, i’m 24 years old. I’m an energetic, passionate, confident person.
I enjoy cooking, baking and going on days out exploring with my family and friends. I love animals and have a 7 year old dog called Mickey. I’m a very clean and tidy person, and I love to keep things organised.
I’m extremely passionate about working with children, I love watching them learn new things & seeing their individual characters grow with confidence.
I’m currently a teaching assistant in Early years and looking for a temporary role for a few weeks during the 6 weeks holidays!
My Experience
I have 10 years experience working with children, from nurseries, primary school teaching assistant, nanny positions, babysitting and overnight care. I have looked after children starting from new borns to 9 years old.
Over the last 10 years I have gained a great deal of knowledge on children, I’m able to plan fun, stimulating activities to help children learn and grow to reach their milestones. I love planning days out to parks, soft play, swimming, play groups, museums etc. I’m able to prepare healthy nutritional meals and cater for dietary needs.

I am Currently studying for a level 3 RQF in supporting teaching and learning.

Chelsea has been our nanny for 1.5 years, caring for our daughter, now 6, and our son, now 2. Managing two kids of such different ages isn't easy, but Chelsea did it well, keeping them both happy and occupied. She has the confidence and experience to handle tricky situations, including when the kids were sick or upset. She was responsible for preparing meals, taking them on outings (parks, soft play etc.), and keeping play areas tidy. Chelsea has a good way with kids; she bonded well with both of them, making her more than just a caretaker. Our 2-year-old has been with her since he was 9 months old, and they have a special connection. She is very safety-conscious, and we've always felt comfortable with our children in her care. We're parting ways as our youngest is starting pre-school and our required hours have reduced, but we're thankful for Chelsea's time with us. Highly recommend.
