My Summary

My Experience

I currently work in a special school as a Learning Support Assistant, and I’ve been there for four years this year. I’m also nearly finished with my ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) training and am studying towards my Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

I’m also a personal assistant (PA) to a young child with cerebral palsy, supporting them with their day-to-day needs and care.

Before this, I worked for over three years as a Level 2 Learning Support Assistant in a Welsh school, supporting children of different ages and abilities. Over the years I’ve worked closely with children with a range of additional learning needs, helping with both their learning and emotional wellbeing in a supportive and structured way.

I really enjoy working with children and building positive relationships with them. I’d describe myself as patient, reliable, and calm, and I always try to create a fun, safe, and caring environment where children feel comfortable and happy.

My Qualifications

11 GCSE’s. 4 A Levels - Distinction*, Distinction, A and C.
Level 2 Learning Support Assistant.
Elklan Communication for children and young people with Complex Needs 0-25.
Elsa - almost completed.

My Availability

I can work around my job, so give me a message and I’ll see what i can do! I am mostly available after school from 3.45-4 every day. I can’t work Saturdays or Sundays.
