My Experience

A vastly experienced Maternity Nurse with over 28 year’s professional childcare experience, I started my childcare career in 1991, I worked as a Daily Nanny for 10 years, predominantly caring for children under 1 year of age for a range of families. Wanting to specialise in the care of newborns, I carried out my first Maternity Nurse role in 2000 with great success, which became the catalyst for my career as a Maternity Nurse. Extremely successful at caring for single babies, twins and triplets.


I have a strong background in professional childcare for numerous babies and toddlers which has given me a unique insight into early childhood care and I have proven experience of being able to expertly advise and support each stage of child development. With an approach similar to, but more flexible than Gina Ford, I have outstanding knowledge of routine and confidently implements structures tailored to suit the individual needs of every family I work with. Confident to support breast and bottle-feeding, I can provides a fantastic level of guidance and can expertly troubleshoot a range of feeding issues. With a love of sharing my extensive knowledge, I take great pride in working in conjunction with parents to share tips and strategies to grow their confidence on all aspects of baby care. Effortlessly inclusive of the whole family, I can delicately support the interaction of older siblings with their new family member, making the whole journey of welcoming a new baby an absolute dream.

I have full enhanced DBS. Also I have a complete First Aid certificate.
