About Me
Hello, my name is Hayley Cornmell and I am an Ofsted registered childminder who is situated in West Derby L12 area. I have been married for ten years and have two children of my own aged six and nine.
I am always friendly, well organised, flexible and approachable. I continuously try my very best to provide a good quality service which is reviewed regularly. I am DBS checked and safeguard all children in my care to the very best of my ability.
I thoroughly enjoy working alongside children and babies of all ages. I take great responsibility in ensuring that each child/baby in my care is always cared for appropriately, kept safe, treated with respect, made to feel welcome and included at all times.
I take great pride in what I do and always act professionally in my job role. I choose to wear a uniform to reflect this and have completed many Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses, including Coronavirus risk assessment training.
Cleanliness is taken very seriously and all areas (both inside and outside) of my home are cleaned regularly in order to minimise risks. I am aware of my responsibilities under the food hygiene legislation and also offer healthy, nutritious meals, drinks and snacks to all children and babies in my care.
I have a well equipped (large) playroom which offers a wide range of (age appropriate) resources. I offer both a fun and stimulating child-centred environment. I encourage all children and babies in my care to explore, whilst discovering their own interests and to learn during adapted activities and free play in accordance with the EYFS framework requirements.
I do arts and crafts including painting, finger painting, junk modelling, collage work, play dough and cutting etc. I also have the added benefit of lots of outings (not to mention libraries, play centres and playgroups), which I will continue to risk assess and discuss with you regularly due to the current COVID-19 risks.
I have a good sized garden for fresh air which is filled with various large and small toys for children and babies. It has artificial grass and is mostly shaded throughout the day to aid children/babies health and safety.
Available for school drop off/collections from St Paul’s Catholic Infants and Junior School in West Derby. Full/part-time place available.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£45.00 per day (maximum of 8 hours) which includes snacks, meals, drinks and outings.
