My Requirements

We are looking for a nanny for a one-off booking over three midweek days in October (exact dates are yet to be decided).
The role would involve arriving at our home at around 6:30am to help my mum get the children, Ella (6, Year 2) and Henry (5, Year 1), ready for school. You would then drive them to school, which is approximately a 20-minute journey from our home.

Once the children are at school, you would have the rest of the morning and afternoon free until school pick-up at 3:30pm. You would then collect the children from school, bring them home and help my parents with the children until around 7:00pm.

The afternoon/evening would involve helping with things such as dinner, reading, playing, and keeping the children entertained and settled. My mum will take care of bath time, so you won't be responsible for bathing them.

I will leave very clear instructions for each day, including everything the children need for school, and I will have their meals planned and prepared in advance. My parents will be at home throughout the day, so you will not be solely responsible for the children. However, they have found the children quite tiring on previous occasions, so we are looking for someone who can provide some extra support and make things easier for them.

This is simply a short-term arrangement while my husband and I take a small trip away. We are hoping to find someone kind, reliable and confident with children who can make these three days as easy and enjoyable as possible for both the children and my parents.

The approximate hours would be 6:30am–9:00am and 3:30pm–7:00pm, with no childcare required during the school day.
