54 though young at heart I must admit
Born North East England , raised North East Scotland returning mid 90’s to study childcare hoping to pursue teaching profession however found calling in caring for early years in settings such as Nurseries and with private families.
Began working life initially in hotel industry as a receptionist and then an Office Administrator before finally following passion for childcare / early years qualification and potential fulfilling career.
Recently widowed, no children unfortunately however lucky to have established a 29 year childcare career from nurseries to Nanny roles.
No two days are the same which is what makes this profession unique and exciting.
Presently residing in North Fenham with own vehicle and am willing to travel.
My Experience
Btech qualification in early years before pursuing career initially in a London workplace nursery caring for a room of 6 children from 6 months to 2 years.
Returned to north east (for relationship)! after 2 wonderful, experience filled years and furthered nursery experience in Newcastle nurseries progressing to Room Leader before diverting childcare path to Nannying.
Employed as a Nanny since 2004 around Newcastle area with wonderful families caring for their children from birth to approximately 8-9 years.

Employed for care of two children (aged 4 and 6)
Sole charge of 1 year old caring for individuals daily needs and second child also upon mothers return to work from maternity cover.

Initial care of 2 boys aged 1 year and 5 months (siblings children ) before welcoming 3 more between each family over coming years. Adapted role as each child attended full time education from both families to one then subsequent years more wraparound cover for school and holidays.
It is my honour to have been blessed with watching them all grow and develop into lovely children all the while welcoming their siblings and extended family through the years caring for each sibling alongside their mothers whilst on maternity leave then as sole charge (siblings and cousins combined)
Duties covering all aspects for childcare from newborn onwards.
