About Me

Hello, our names are Amanda and Karen. We have been registered childminders for 40 years combined. We having the e enjoyed seeing all the children we care for, grow, learn, develop and become their own little person in our home.


We work from a house in a cul de sac in Blackwater/Hawley we have 3 lovely small old dogs...Lexi, Ollie and Ted ( they are all amazing with children and have grown up with children)

We offer the 30 hour funding, which we are happy to split/stretch over the year. We also don’t have set hours of funding per day (ie 10-2). We do however have a minimum of 8 hours per day inclusive of funded and non funded hours. We also accept the government tax free childcare.


We have a large enclosed back garden with with lots of toys, including cars, ride on bikes, sandpit, water table, play houses, climbing frame/slide, tree swing, outdoor mud kitchen area, digging area. We regularly do messy play such as painting, play doh, cooking etc. We have a dedicated playroom, with many educational and stimlulaing toys to suit a wide variety of children of all ages.
On a regular basis we attend varrying toddler groups, song/music groups, play gyms, parks, walks to local woods etc. All activites and experiences are shared with you on a what’s app group daily/weekly so you can see what your child/ren have been up to.

We offer a home from home environment and to enable the children to feel relaxed, confident and nurtured in our home and to be a part of our Family .
