About Me
I am a proud mother of three grown-up children and a devoted grandmother who cherishes spending as much time as possible with my grandson.
With many years of both personal and professional experience in Early Years childcare, I am passionate about supporting children during their most important developmental stages. I hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in the Children and Young People's Workforce and am committed to continuous professional development. I stay up to date with current Early Years practices and maintain qualifications in Safeguarding and Full Paediatric First Aid.
My core ethos is to ensure that every child leaves my setting with strong self-esteem, confidence, and the skills needed to be school-ready. I believe that when a child's self-worth is nurtured and valued, they are empowered to thrive, participate with confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning at their own pace.
My Experience
I achieved my NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and went on to manage the baby room at a local nursery for several years, where I gained valuable experience caring for and supporting the development of young children. References from this role are available upon request.
In 2015, I took the next step in my childcare career and opened my own setting, allowing me to provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored to each child's individual needs. I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive through play-based experiences and positive relationships.
The majority of the children in my care have joined through recommendations from both past and present parents, which I believe reflects the trust, confidence, and strong relationships I build with families. I take great pride in offering high-quality childcare and maintaining open communication with parents to ensure every child receives the best possible care and support.

Like the other reviewers I just feel so lucky to have found Lynelle as she is simply wonderful in every way. My daughter loves her time with her, she has so much fun and her development has come on leaps and bounds since she has been with Lynelle. They have a lovely little bond and Lynelle develops this with all the children she has on any day so it really feels like a little family. She is so kind, thoughtful and caring but also very observant and damn good at her job! I have 100% confidence in her and her setting, it has been perfect for B ever since she arrived. From a parent perspective I get regular updates and pictures, regular and detailed progress reports and she is very efficient and timely with all the admin. Lynelle is one very special lady!

Lynelle looks after my daughter twice a week and I genuinely couldn't recommend her more. She's such a warm,kind lady who caters to every need my daughter has. It was a difficult transition for my daughter, but Lynelle quickly made her feel at home,she now walks straight in and doesn't look back. I get regular updates through the day,with photos of what my daughter is doing,honestly couldn't recommend her enough!

Lynelle looks after my son twice a week and he loves his days with her. She always has different activities or themed days planned and she’ll take him out and about, too. He’s so happy when I pick him up and I feel really comfortable leaving him with Lynelle. She’s so fun, warm and friendly and really cares for my son. We feel very lucky to have found her!

Lynelle is so warm and welcoming, she has such a fun way with the kids, they love her and all the activities she arranges for them. Maisie settles so quickly once she’s there, and with regular photo updates, she’s always occupied and enjoying herself. Lynelle is great with the kids and couldn’t recommend enough!

Lola absolutely loves going to Lynelle’s. She walks in super excited and doesn’t look back which is so reassuring for her first childcare experience. Lynelle is a warm, friendly, funny, calm and compassionate person who made us and our daughter feel so at ease from our very first meeting. Lynelle tailors her day’s activities to what she knows the children like incorporating learning and helping Lola where she needs it. We get regular updates and photos throughout the day which is really lovely. Lola felt like part of Lynelle’s family in her home-from-home setting and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Lynelle is a wonderful, warm and funny childminder and has developed the best relationship with my daughter. She was born during lockdown and therefore the transition to a childcare setting was particularly hard (for us both!). Lynelle was patient and kind and soon settled my daughter in. She is treated like one of the family and the care she receives at Lynelle's is second to none in my opinion. They have great fun together every session and Lynelle finds the most engaging and interesting activities for my daughter so that she is never bored. I receive plenty of updates and photos during the day and regular updates from Lynelle on Holly's development and progress. I cannot recommend Lynelle highly enough.

Lynelle is a very kind and loving person with a welcoming environment for children. Activities are always thought of around the children’s needs and interests. Updates and photos widely available. I can only say my daughter really came out of her shell with Lynelle and just grew with confidence she was treated like part of the family, and I couldn’t have asked for more especially in the current pandemic.
