About Me
Hello! My name is Verity and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I have lived in North Chingford for about 9 years with my husband and my beautiful 9 year old twin boys. We also have two very friendly cats!
I have a lovely warm family home with a big garden for the children to play in. My garden is filled with play equipment and garden toys. I also have a large dedicated playroom at the back of my garden which contains lots of toys, puzzles and role play fun for the children to enjoy.
I love to plan and organise activities i.e. arts and crafts, role play, games, sensory play.
We like to go out and visit the local community such as the local nature reserve, forest, parks, to allow the children to explore the world around.
I provide healthy and nutritious food. We are an Intalian family so alot of my food has an italian influence.
My Experience
I have about 3 years experience of working in a local preschool. For two of these years, I worked as a Key Worker. As well as being a mother of twins, working as a Key Worker in a preschool has given me lots of experience of teaching and caring for young children. I have been childminding now for over a year and I am enjoying every second!
My Qualifications
Cache Level 3 Diploma for The Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
Paediatric First Aid course (12 hours)

My Availability
I currently have spaces for children from 3 months to 4 years during the day.
I am also available for before and after school care for children who attend Yardley Primary School/ Nursery and St Francis Preschool in Chingford.
My opening and closing times are 7.30am to 6pm.
