About Me

I am a qualified primary school teacher, currently on maternity leave. I have worked in extremely high achieving schools in Woking, Thames Ditton and Streatham across all year groups from Reception to Year 6. I have been a tutor for over 8 years and have tutored children between the ages of 4-12 covering many different areas such as phonics, basic skills, maths, reading, writing as well as helping with homework.

I am a calm, friendly, trustworthy and fun person to be around so your child won’t find tutoring a chore!

I enjoy working with all abilities across Early Years, Key Stage One and Key Stage Two. I specialise in finding gaps and areas/skills that need improvement which may be preventing your child from making excellent progress.

I worked as a nanny for two years prior to becoming a teacher and have experience of looking after children from 6 months old. I have also lived in Australia for two years where I worked as a teacher and in a pre-school for 6 months.

I aim for all children I teach to, most importantly, enjoy learning regardless of ability and to reach their full potential. I can provide a structured tutoring programme based on your child’s individual needs, homework help or prepare them for secondary school.

I am very confident in all areas of the Primary Curriculum. I have a particular interest in identifying barriers in reading and writing, specifically helping with phonics. I also really enjoy teaching key maths concepts and skills.
