I am a warm and nurturing nanny with experience caring for children from 1 months to 16 years.
I am highly organised and efficient in my duties and understand the importance of reliability and punctuality. I love the freedom of working as a Nanny, as every day is a new adventure that we can embrace, be it a walk in the park to find fairies, a quiet time reading together or building a fortress in the garden! I believe that children thrive when they feel loved, happy and secure and this is my core focus, with lots of fun and laughter thrown in too. I have recent experience potty training children in my care and have helped children transition into school with ease.
My Experience
Full time live-in Au Pair (2 years) for 3 children; 2 boys aged 8 and 7, 1 girl aged 4.
· Perform childcare responsibilities according to the family's rules.
· Participate in weekly scheduling meetings with parents as both were Doctors work shifts.
· Maintain all household cleaning and prepared nutritious daily meals.
· Assist children to develop fundamental learning, coping, and hygiene skills.
· Effectively handle interventions between children when disagreements arose
· I administered first aid and daily medications as required as the two boys live with severe Nut, Dairy, Egg, Casein and Extreme Temperature Allergies.
· Responsible for coordinating activities with other nannies and children
· Take children to different activities throughout the week (i.e., music, sports, religion class, etc.).
My Qualifications
I do not have any qualifiactions. I have been a babysitter for family and friends from the age of 16. I was an au pair in America for 2 years, which was heartbreaking when I left, I also worked at a summer camp in New York for 3 months as a camp counsellor.
