I am a 55 year old mother of two (my youngest was home educated until they reached 16 years of age) and a grandmother of four aged between 2 and 11 years. I home educated my youngest child so understand reasons for this alternative education to school. I have babysitting, parenting, grandparenting, newborn, twins experience and nannying experience as well as over 12 years experience in the Health and Social Care sector.

Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate dated: 17th August 2024. Valid for three years. Certificate meets the full EYFS/DfE and Ofsted criteria for Early Years
TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Special Educational Needs and Disability
I have a valid Enhanced DBS check certificate issued in 2024

I am currently studying towards a BSc Honours Psychology with Counselling
I am a hard-working, creative and mature person who loves spending time with my family, especially my amazing grandchildren who are fun to be around. I love watching them grow and develop into their own individual self. This is extended to my professional role in childcare.
My Experience
I have been a mother for 35 years to two children (my youngest was home educated until they reached 16 years of age) and am a grandparent to four amazing grandchildren, aged between 2 and 11 years. I love my family and cherish them with all my heart. I understand family life yet understand parents may want and/or need to work as well as deserve some me time or couple time.
I have also worked as an after school nanny for two wonderful families from October 2024 to present day.
My Qualifications
I have 35 years of experience as a parent (including home educating my youngest child) as well as experience as a grandparent.
Babysitting experience since a teenager.
Newborn and twins experience.
Professional nannying experience.
IAQ Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health.
Certificate in Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety (Catering standard).

My Availability

**I am a non-driver so my travel expenses is to be covered by the job if the time of finishing is beyond 21:00 during autumn/winter. So, a paid taxi home will be required if distance would require public transport.**

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.70 per hour
- Nannying from £13.70 per hour (gross)
