My Experience
I regularly care for multiple children ranging in age between newborn - 14 years old and take pride in establishing positive relationships with both children and parents. I follow the children’s regular routines (meal times, bath time, homework, bed time, etc.) to create a sense of familiarity and security for all in my care. While planning for activities I prioritise safeguarding and ensuring the necessary precautions are put in place along side encouraging age-appropriate development in the home and at local amenities. I also ensure I am always reliable and flexible (where possible) to help parents as much as possible to help around their schedules.
My Qualifications
- Ba(Hons) Early Years Development and Learning along side the Norland Diploma
- Enhanced DBS on the update service
- 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid with Anaphylaxis Management
- Safeguarding
- Water Safety
- NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service
- 2 A-Levels and an equivalent level BTEC.
- G.S.C.E level with grades B-C including English Language/Literature, Maths and Science.
- I hold a full clean UK driving licence
