My Experience
I have over 18 years of professional experience working with children and am a qualified NVQ Level 3 Nursery Practitioner/Nurse. Throughout my career, I have cared for children from babies through to school age, including twins, with babies and younger children being a particular strength of mine.
I am confident with the everyday care and routines of babies and young children, while also supporting their development through each important stage. My nursery background has given me a strong understanding of early years development, and I love helping children learn naturally through play.
I enjoy creating fun and engaging activities using everyday resources, including sensory play, nursery rhymes, colours, shapes and numbers for younger children, progressing to phonics, counting, drawing, writing and creative activities for pre-schoolers. I also encourage outdoor play and activities that help strengthen fine and gross motor skills.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish and, if parents wish, I can naturally introduce Spanish into their child's day through conversation, songs, nursery rhymes, numbers, colours and play.
Being a mother myself has also given me an understanding of childcare from a parent's perspective. I know how much trust it takes to leave your child in someone else's care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I am patient, caring and affectionate while respecting each family's routines, boundaries and parenting choices.
For me, being a nanny is about much more than simply looking after a child. It's about creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment where they feel loved, encouraged and confident enough to learn, explore and grow.

I'm looking for part time and/ or full time, where I can provide and give the best of my professional and qualified services. I'm flexible during half terms. Late evenings if required for the occasional night babysitting, emergency babysitting, weekend evenings and or overnight.
