About Me
I am an enthusiastic person who is willing to learn new things and develop new skills. I am a quick learner and am willing to jump into any situation handed to me. I have completed Bronze Duke Of Edinborough while I had my studies at Ballard School. My interests include; sailing, cycling, reading and music. I have work experience in a local charity called The Honey Pot Charity which help enhance
the lives of young carers and vulnerable children aged 5-12 years by providing respite breaks and on-going outreach support. I helped raise awareness at my school and went to local events to raise money and tell people about the charity. I have previously worked at Southampton general hospital on an isolation unit (adults) and then moved to A&E and worked there for around a year (adult and child). I am now studying children’s nursing at Bournemouth University. This year 2022-23 I am taking a break from studying till January 23 (returning for one month then available again) so I am able to work more alongside children (either hospital-based or nannying).
I have experience working with young children in both a home setting and a hospital. I know how to do CPR on both an adult and child and see this as a very rewarding skill when working with children for the parent's peace of mind. I have over 7 years of babysitting/nanny experience and a drivers license.
My Experience
I thoroughly enjoy working with children in both the healthcare environment and also in my work within children's charities and sailing club and realise that my interest in nursing has always peaked when focussed on children.
My previous experience of working with children has included volunteering at the Honey Pot Children’s charity based in the New Forest. They provide respite for young carers who find themselves caring for the adults in their lives. This gave me a greater appreciation of the complexities in some young people’s lives. Which I believe will be invaluable in my career as a paediatric nurse. I have experience both in a home setting and a hospital setting. I learnt so many skills whilst working here and I am now studying children's nursing at Bournemouth University. I would love to work with children during this time. I have over 7 years of experience of being a babysitter/nanny and working within the hospital. Also studying up to level 4 Bsc Hons degree which I will continue in 2023

My Availability
I am very flexible on days/hours. I would like to be a live-out nanny and am local to Southampton/London. I have a drivers license so I am able to drive to destinations. I have university for a month in January but am then free until the next school year.

- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
