Are you looking for a polyglot nanny???? Well, you found one!!! My name is Michela and I am Italian. I have been living in England for almost 6 years and currently completing my degree at UCL in Languages and Culture. I am super passionate about languages and I speak fluently Italian, English and Portuguese. I am funny, talkative, responsible, and with a positive attitude. I like spending time with children, helping out with their homework, taking them to the park or backing cakes and biscuits together.
My Experience
In 2013, I started volunteering at a summer school with my church in Italy, where I looked after children of different ages.
After that, I gained various babysitting experiences in Italy, but my official nanny journey began in January 2020 when I moved to Oxford to be an au pair. I stayed with the same family for more than two years, and as they became my second family, we are still in touch.
In May 2022, I started working as a full-time nanny before moving to London. Since it was not possible for me to continue working full-time while studying, I switched to part-time/after-school nannying. Last year, I was lucky enough to find a live-in part-time role, which was a perfect fit for my university schedule.
I am currently completing my year abroad in Brazil, studying at USP. This experience is allowing me to master my Portuguese skills.
Because of this, I will be able to offer language tutoring in Italian, English, and Portuguese—whether for bilingual children or simply to help your kids keep practicing their mother tongue.
I am also a confident driver, so I will have no problem if the role involves driving.

My Qualifications
My qualifications are:
Pediatric First Aid and common core skills training;
DBS check;
driving license.
My Availability
I am mainly available during the weekends(morning-afternoon-evening-night), and also from Tuesday to Friday after 3:30pm. If you have any questions in any of the languages listed , please do not hesitate to ask :) P.s I do understand French and can handle a conversation but I am still working on it :))
