About Me
Hello, My name is Tamzin. I am 23 years old. I relocated to South Wales at the end of 2024. I am a Norland trained nanny with a degree in Early Years Learning and Development. I have over 5 years of experience in childcare and nannying. I am currently nannying for a family with 4 children (B7, G5, G2, G2), and have been with them since January 2025. I previously nannied in South West London for 3 children, 3 years and younger (September 2023-September 2024).I really enjoy nannying; and supporting children and families to thrive. I am also CIW registered.
I would describe myself as self motivated, love the outdoors and travelling. I have enjoyed travelling to many European cities over the last few years. I also really enjoy sports, attending the gym, parkruns and hoping to join a team sport soon. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, on walks and by the beach.
My Experience
I have a wide experience in childcare from newborn to 12 years old. I have experience of both nannying and babysitting.
I am currently a full time nanny (Monday - Thursday) to B7, G5, G2 & G2. I have been nannying with this family for just under a year. This position has been able to gain twin experience.
My previous full time position, was as live in nanny in South West London, where i have looked after B3, B2 and G4months (current ages) for a year. I have had sole charge of the children, planning activities and day trips, all nursery duties and cooking.
I have also completed a temporary summer nanny jobwith a 2 year old boy which I enjoyed. I have also completed placements within my Norland course with families in Both the Bath area and London. I completed a 6 weeks placement in South West London with B5, G3 & G12months where I took on a lot of sole charge of the children, taking them to classes, trips to the parks, play dates, school runs and home-based activities. I also took on the cooking for the children, preparing homemade healthy meals which followed the children’s dietary requirements
I have experience of working with children with additional needs, I am also a registered healthcare assistant. I have also completed an 120 hour placement for my level 3 health and social care BTEC (Distinction*) at a local primary school, where I worked within a year 2 class. I have also had experience in a school within Bath working with children aged 2-6 as well as a week work experience at a nursery.
I have also got experience as a leader of Girls Brigade in Radstock, where I volunteered with primary aged children and since have work e as a holiday club leader for a local Bath school working with children aged 4-8.
