About Me

As one of 16 children, raising and nurturing children is second nature to me. I am an avid believer in the importance of positive reinforcement and education for children. Having such a big family I am familiar with numerous learning techniques and styles especially the importance of patience for children with learning difficulties and/or special needs.
I have a natural love for history and the sciences and love to incorporate my passions into fun and interesting activities. My nieces and nephews love my National History Museum trips. I am also a big nerd so love sci-fi, Marvel, Star Wars and numerous games so I am sure your children won’t find me to be the boring old nanny.
I also have a degree in events management which helps me create fun mini-events for those I care for the best one to date was a mini–Santa’s Grotto for a family of five. I also have over 5 years experience looking after children and I understand that all families are different, therefore I am happy to adapt to the parent's needs and requests with their children.
My future goal: Complete an English as a second language course and teach in South Korea for a year
