My name is Hollie, I’m 25 years old. I am a nanny with 7 years of experience. I am a very caring, fun, loving young woman. Full of energy and extremely positive.

- Working life.
Working with children gives me a great sense of achievement that I feel I cannot get in other job roles and i really do take my job quite seriously althiugh im not a serious person at all, i take great pride in my job and i feel i am very good at it, I really see my nanny families as my second family and would hope you can feel the same!
Watching them learn new things, grow their characters, and achieve their own milestones is something like no other and is my dream job and has been since a child. I really do treat and love the children I care for as I would my own. They would also be part of my family too as my sister is also a nanny, and my mum loves to get involved and treat them. For example, with my current family, we quite often go for dog walks together as we are nearby, and she will buy them a snack.
I always look forward to going to work. I love being outdoors, doing fun activities and opening their worlds up to new experiences, seeing their faces, and seeing their faces. I love new challenges or maybe struggle at first, but eventually, I get it, which is such a wonderful feeling.

My current role is for an amazing family with B5 and G4
Normal nanny duties include school and nursery drop off, laundry, cleaning after the children, school pick up, after school clubs and activities, dinner, and bathtime!
My role is really sadly ending due to G4 starting big school, and they will no longer have enough hours available for me!

2020-2021
My role with a family working from home during the pandemic. Girl 12m - 18m
Full-time role. Mainly focus on speech, moving onto solids, and developing correct eating habits due to having cleft palate surgery.
Social skills due to being a 'pandemic baby'.
And key stage learning until she was ready for nursery.

I have been a nanny in the UK for 3 years previous to travelling.
My previous experience includes: 1 baby boy, age 7 months until he was 20 months.
I was with this family a year, she was a single mother who had to work a full time job and my role was everything a mother would do 9-5 if she was at home, this included housework and laundry for the child only.
Cooking healthy meals, lots of activities, play groups, swimming lessons, play dates.
All age appropriate to help stimulate his growth and learning.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Hollie since 2017 when I employed her to become a nanny for my youngest daughter, who at the time was 4 years old. Hollie cared for her over a period of 13 months, whilst the original job offer was on a short term basis over a period of 2 days a week that quickly changed within a month of Hollie starting due to outstanding qualities she showed within that time. I then asked Hollie to increase her working hours to full time and over a period of 4 days a week.
Whilst Hollie was with us she really went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter was looked after in the best possible way. Hollie was able to encourage my daughter to take part in day to day activities such as going to the local park, soft play and other child focused activities. My daughter was a very shy child around other people and children and found it very difficult to get involved in what was going on around her.
Hollie was able to encourage and support her with this in the best possible way. Hollie was also able to apply the correct disciplinary techniques when she was required to do so.
Hollie’s responsibilities included basic meal planning and food preparation, bathing and dressing, assisting with general household jobs such as laundry, general housework and pet care. Hollie was always happy to help out in other areas when she was asked to do so.
Hollie was able to ensure that my daughter had a safe and stimulating environment whilst I was away and I felt very confident that should any emergency ever arise that she could deal with it in a professional and safe way.
I believe that Hollie’s kind, nurturing and trustworthiness will be an asset to any family who is looking to hire a nanny. I could not praise or recommend her enough and we as a family were all very sad to see her go as we had all built a relationship with her and she really did become part of our family.
