About Me
I'm Poonam, a registered childminder based in New Malden. I'm a member of tiney, a nation-wide community of childcare professionals. I have a child of my own aged 3.
My goal is to create a happy and engaging home where children of all ages thrive. I ensure my home covers all 7 areas of learning of the EYFS and I make it a priority to communicate with parents about how their child is doing through the tiney app.
A typical week includes circle time, stories and singing, arts and crafts, sensory and messy play, construction, roleplay and outdoor activities. We regularly visit local parks, toddler groups and libraries which gives the children great learning opportunities and builds on their social and emotional development.
My home is next to New Malden High Street and I'm a 10 minute walk from New Malden train station. My home has excellent bus links.

My Qualifications
I am a level 6 Qualified Early Years Teacher and an Economics graduate
I have also completed three months of comprehensive training with tiney. This included a blend of online and offline training, totalling over 60 hours. As part of this I received the following:
Enhanced DBS checks for myself and my husband
Paediatric First Aid Training from First Aid for Life;
Food safety and hygiene Training
Safeguarding Children Training
Full Public Liability Insurance for Childminders
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday all year around.
My working hours are 8:00am - 6:00pm
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£7.50 per hour
Childcare fees include:
3 meals a day plus 2 healthy snacks
Activities
But do not include:
Nappies
Baby milk
