About Me
I am 26 with 5 years of experience in a children’s nursery, I hold a level 2 & 3 nvq in childcare and various other training including understanding challenging behaviour. I also have 5 years experience working with children who have ASD other SEMH difficulties and currently work in a SEN provision in a mainstream school locally. I enjoy being outside and getting fresh air and planning and doing fun exciting things with children such as messy play and arts and crafts all whilst following your personal boundaries and rules!
My Experience
I have 5 years experience in a nursery where I was room leader and SENCo when I left. In 2020 I started working at a SEN school in Sheffield and now work in a mainstream school leading a SEND provision alongside the SENCo. I have NVQ level 2 and 3 in children and young peoples education, working towards a level 4 in teaching and learning and have completed various extra CPD including food hygiene, fire safety and challenging behaviour. I have also completed recent safeguarding training and have a recent DBS check.
